Rock, Stone, Cobble
These are the more decorative rocks that we carry, more often used in landscaping around your home. The majority of the rock from around this area is grey, but we do have a few options with a little more warmth. When planning your project try to use a variety of colors and textures...it will add interest and depth to your landscape. Look at bordering smaller rock with a larger size or a contrasting color, or creating paths through your stone with D.G.


Float Rock
Float Rock comes out of Santa Maria. (and no-it doesn't really float) It is a 1"-1 1/2" rounded rock, a warm, creamy color, and great for landscaping.


3/4" Navajo Rock
Navajo Rock comes from a quarry out on Hwy 58. It is a crushed 3/4" rock and a warm tan/brown color. It can be used for parking areas or decoratively .


3/8" Navajo
3/8" Navajo Rock comes from a quarry out on Hwy 58. It is a crushed rock and a warm tan/brown color. It can be used for parking areas or pathways.


1 1/2" Riverstone
This is the largest of our riverstones, and it comes from Santa Maria. It is commonly used in landscapes, stands up to a leaf blower, and also works well for drainage.


3/4" Riverstone
3/4" riverstone comes from Santa Maria. Mostly grey in color, it is a very versatile stone. Great for general landscapes, easy to walk on, and works well in dog runs also.


Pea Gravel
3/8" pea gravel comes out of Coalinga. It is a smooth pebble that is predominantly grey. It is often used for paths and in dog runs. It is also a great alternative for a child's sandbox.


Serpentine Rock
Serpentine is an 1 1/2" rock that comes out of Cambria. The greenish/grey color is attractive enough to be used decoratively, but also works well as a drainage solution.


3"-8" Cobble
These largest cobble come from a quarry in Fresno. The are most often used for dry creek beds and edging. The are fairly oval and range in color from grey, tan, and cream.


Rip Rap
This large greenish grey rock comes out of Cambria. It can be used for drainage, edging, and even stacked to create small walls. It ranges from 6"-12".


3/4" Red Lava
The red lava rock comes from Clear Lake in northern California. It is one of the most traditional landscaping rocks around. It is also good for pond filters and fire pits.
