Gravel, sand, base

Sand, gravel, and road base are definitely more of the construction side of our products. If you are getting ready to pour concrete, build a block wall, or create an RV parking pad...these are the products you are looking for.

3/4" Gravel

Our gravel comes from Rocky Canyon Quarry in Atascadero. The 3/4" is great for driveways, french drains, and behind block walls. It does vary in color, usually speckled with tan, grey, and white.

1/2" Gravel

Our 1/2" gravel comes from Rocky Canyon in Atascadero. It is our favorite size for driveways, and once compacted it is easy to roll trash cans and lawn equipment over it too. It does vary in color, usually speckled with tan, grey, and white.

1 1/2" Gravel

This is the largest gravel we get out of the Rocky Canyon Quarry in Atascadero. It is great for drainage ,erosion control, and leach lines. The color does vary, usually tan, grey, and white speckled.

Fill Sand

This is a screened river sand that comes out of Santa Maria. It is screened to 1/4"minus. You can use this sand to backfill around pipes, under concrete, or when laying pavers.

Plaster Sand

Our plaster sand comes out of Santa Maria. It is washed and screened, so there is no silt or rock in it. This makes it suited for children's play areas, underneath above ground swimming pools...and of course making plaster.

Decomposed Granite (D.G.)

D.G. comes from the Rocky Canyon quarry in Atascadero. It is a compactable material-great for paths, seating areas, driveways, rv pads, under concrete. Very versatile. It runs tan/gold 99% of the time, but on rare occasions can vary to a more grey color.

Class II Base

Class II Base comes from the Rocky Canyon Quarry in Atascadero. Once it is compacted class II is a very stable surface. It can be used for roads, driveways, filling in potholes, and as a base for pavers or artificial grass. It is tan/gold in color 75% of the time, but does on occasion vary to a more grey color.
